Acceptable Use Policy

Who this applies to#

This policy applies to everyone who uses Lamp or Spark. It is part of our Terms of Service. “Our services” means Lamp, Spark and the sites they run on.

Use our services lawfully#

Do not use our services to:

  • break any law, or help someone else break one;
  • put content into them that infringes someone else’s rights, such as copyright, trade secrets or a duty of confidentiality;
  • put personal data about other people into them that you are not allowed to share with us;
  • harass, threaten or deceive anyone.

Keep our services safe#

Do not:

  • try to get into accounts, systems or data that are not yours;
  • probe, scan or test our systems for weaknesses, or get around our security measures; report weaknesses you find to our e-mail address;
  • send malware or anything else meant to harm our services or other users;
  • send so many requests that you slow down or overload our services;
  • use bots, scrapers or other automated tools on Lamp or Spark, or copy Spark’s data in bulk.

Accounts, plans and credits#

Do not:

  • share your sign-in details or let other people use your account;
  • open more than one trial, or create accounts to get more free credits;
  • get around the limits of your plan or the credit system;
  • resell or give access to Lamp to other people without our written agreement.

AI features#

Lamp uses AI models to write chat answers and reports. Do not:

  • try to make the models ignore their instructions, or reveal data that belongs to someone else;
  • use Lamp to produce content that breaks the law or this policy;
  • present Lamp’s output as professional legal or patent advice.

When the rules are broken#

If you break this policy, we may remove content, limit or suspend your access, or close your account. How much we do depends on how serious the breach is. Unless the matter is urgent or the law prevents it, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

Where the law requires it, we report illegal content or activity to the authorities.

Reporting misuse#

If you see someone misusing our services, write to our e-mail address. Tell us what happened and where, so we can look into it.
